Join SNC Radio!

It is easy to join SNC Radio. All you have to do is contact the Program Manager, Delaney Hennes, and we will set up a meeting time and get you on air within a week!

What is process like to get my show on air?

First, you have an idea of what you want to talk about. It could be music, current events, school life, an audio blog, a podcast series, or a sports show to name a few. If you are having trouble coming up with an idea, listen to our content, take a look at our past shows, or tune in to other radio stations. There is plenty out there to spark your creative interest. New ideas are welcome! Second, you would sit down with one of our more experienced members and discuss how your idea would work on air. We then do some paperwork and a studio tour to show you the equipment. After that, the next available day that your show is scheduled to take place on, you can go on air and do your show live.

What is the time commitment like?

As a member of SNC Radio, your time commitment can range from a half hour show once a week to up to two hours a week. It all depends on how much content you feel comfortable delivering. On top of that, all of our members are required to do a service event every semester, unless certain circumstances arise.
